Digital Key Plus.

The Digital Key Plus is a digital vehicle key on your compatible smartphone (iOS or Android) or Apple Watch that allows you to conveniently and securely unlock or lock and start your MINI without having to take the device out of your pocket.

HEAD-UP-DISPLAY.

With the optional head-up display, you have all important driving information conveniently and intuitively at a glance. It fades them directly into your field of vision, so you can concentrate fully on the road.

Smartphone Integration.

With smartphone integration, you can easily access your favorite apps in your MINI wirelessly via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Navigation instructions from supported navigation apps are displayed on the MINI Interaction Unit and in the head-up display of your MINI, so that you can safely access all apps on your smartphone even while driving.

With the MINI Connected Package your MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant is reaching the next level in terms of visualisation: You have now the option to choose from two different avatars, allowing you to customize your voice assistant experience even further.

Enhance the scope of the MINI Navigation with an appealing visualisation option featuring 3D buildings and landmarks. Extended information on points of interest and parking information makes arriving at your destination easy.

AIRCONSOLE GAMES.

The AirConsole technology is new to our MINI models and is setting up a unique form of in-car gaming experience. AirConsole games are instantly available over the air and controlled using the smartphone in combination with the MINI Interaction Unit. This set-up means that multiple players – including passengers in the rear – can play casual games in the AirConsole App when the vehicle is stationary.

ADDITIONAL APPS.

Easily access your favourite apps from various subject areas such as audio & music, games, news and video streaming. The apps are perfectly integrated into the circular display of your MINI and the range of apps will constantly evolve.

Safety & driving assistance systems

The MINI reliably ensures your safety on every journey. Even in the basic version, your MINI has advanced safety functions and always keeps an eye out for potential dangers. Whether you're changing lanes, reversing or simply opening a door, you'll enjoy pure driving pleasure at all times with the assistance of visual and audible warning signals.

"Driving Assistant" is optional equipment.

Collision warning.

The standard Collision Warning with Brake Intervention in your MINI keeps an eye on potential dangers ahead. It warns of the risk of collision, brakes automatically if necessary and supports your evasive manoeuvres.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING WITH RETURN TO THE LANE

The Lane Departure Warning ensures your safety as standard in the MINI. If your MINI detects an imminent departure from the lane, you will receive a double warning - a visual signal and a steering wheel vibration - to get your MINI out of the danger zone and back to the centre of the lane.

LANE CHANGE WARNING.

The Lane Change Warning system in the MINI ensures your safety as standard. If a vehicle is in your blind spot, you will be warned by visual signals in the exterior mirrors and by a vibration of the steering wheel, so that you can avoid a collision when changing lanes.

CROSS TRAFIC WARNING.

With the standard Cross Traffic Warning, the MINI ensures safe reversing. Visual and acoustic warning signals indicate other road users and thus prevent collisions when reversing.

EXIT WARNING.

The exit warning warns with visual and acoustic signals if other vehicles or cyclists are approaching from behind when the doors are opened.

ACTIVE CRUISE CONTROL AND STAYING ON TRACK.

Experience more comfort and safety - with the Driving Assistant Plus. Active Cruise Control keeps the speed and distance the same and stops if necessary. With Stop&Go, your MINI automatically restarts. On the multifunction steering wheel, you operate the assisted mode. The Lane Keeping Assistant keeps the MINI at up to 180 km/h in the middle of the lane and displays speed limits and follows them automatically.

INTUITIVE NAVIGATION.

The cloud-based navigation system - included as standard feature - significantly improved performance and destination entry. It enables fast and dynamic route calculation based on precise real-time traffic data. A special extra is the color adjustment of the map display to the selected MINI Experience Mode.

PARK LIKE A PRO.

With Parking Assistant Professional, your MINI can automatically drive itself into any suitable space while you watch and relax. If you like, you can even control it remotely using your smartphone.

SPEED LIMIT ASSIST.

The standard Speed Limit Assist detects speed limits in real time and displays them on the screen. With the optional Driving Assistant Plus, you can even automatically transfer the displayed speed limit to Active Cruise Control if you wish.

HIGH BEAM ASSISTANT.

The camera on your interior mirror detects the headlights of oncoming vehicles from a distance of 700 metres. It also detects vehicles up to 400 metres ahead of you. Your MINI immediately switches from high beam to low beam. The camera also recognises built-up areas, road signs, and changing light. It switches from high to low beam at precisely the right moment.

Yes. In your MINI with Operating System 9, you can display and operate the apps of your connected smartphone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay in the central instrument (“MINI Interaction Unit”).

Yes. Through regular Remote Software Upgrades, your MINI receives quality improvements and, depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment, new functions or functional improvements free of charge and over the air. Once a Remote Software Upgrade is available for your vehicle, you will receive a notification via the MINI App on your smartphone and in the central instrument (“MINI Interaction Unit”) of your vehicle.

For your MINI electric vehicle with Operating System 9, you can set the charging mode and departure time and activate battery heat management for optimised DC charging.

Prior to March 2018, only Clubman and Countryman were compatible with Apple CarPlay and must be fitted with MINI Connected XL (option 6NT).

From March 2018, MINI's which have been fitted with Navigation Package (Package ZNV for Hatch and Convertible and Package 7GH on Clubman and Countryman. 7GH is standard fitment for Clubman and Countryman) - If your MINI doesn't have either of these packages then the vehicle will not be compatible with Apple CarPlay.

MINI's built with Operating System 9 have Apple Car Play as standard.
MINI Operating System 9 was introduced with the MINI Countryman, MINI Cooper E and MINI Cooper SE from November 2023, and introduced with other MINI models produced in 2024.

Depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment, you can air-condition, heat or ventilate your MINI immediately or at a departure time via the Remote Services in the MINI App.

*The option to "Ventilate" the car is where you can remotely turn on the fans, but this won’t be warm or cool air.

The automatic air conditioning cools or heats the interior to the temperature last set in the vehicle. To air-condition your MINI immediately, tap the fan icon in the "Vehicle" tab. To start the climate control, heating or ventilation at a departure time, select "Plan ventilation" ("Remote Services" menu), set a departure time and send it to your vehicle.

For your MINI electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, select "Vehicle" (tab) > "Charge & Climate settings" ("Charging" menu) > "Preconditioning for departure" ("Charge & Climate Timer"). Please note: Your smartphone and your MINI require a sufficient mobile connection to run the Remote Services. The battery of your vehicle must be sufficiently charged.

You have the option to plan ventilation for 24 hours or weekly. To cancel your planned ventilation time, simply untick your selection.
